Our Mission

Abbey's Bakery is dedicated to sharing Abbey's story, promoting mental health awareness & suicide prevention and providing resources to those who may be suffering.

Our Story

Welcome to Abbey’s Bakery!  Abbey’s Bakery was founded to honor the life and legacy of Abbey Wolf, who we lost way too early.  Abbey was vibrant and kind with an infectious laugh. Abbey was loved and admired by all that knew her. She was everyone's friend. Abbey was compassionate, creative, driven, smart, funny and full of life. Abbey was a daughter, a sister, a grandchild, a niece, a friend, an athlete, and a crafter.  Abbey, our little Martha Stewart, was happiest when she was baking though.  She found peace when she was working in the kitchen and the joy when she shared her delicious treats with friends and family.  Her specialties included Banana Bread, chocolate chip cookies and brownies. She seasoned everything with her secret ingredient: Love.

Sadly, Abbey also silently battled depression and anxiety.  We tragically lost Abbey to suicide on November 7th, 2020. She was just 14-years old.

Abbey may not be here physically, but her family is determined to carry on her love for baking with others.  Today we share that love, and her recipes, with you in hopes that it brings you joy and happiness and that baking creates an environment that fosters mental health conversations.
