Abbey’s Famous Banana Bread
Ingredients:
2 to 3 very ripe bananas, peeled (about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups mashed)
1/3 cup melted butter, unsalted or salted
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
3/4 cup sugar (1/2 cup if you would like it less sweet, 1 cup if more sweet)
1 large egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350F (175C), and butter a 4x8-inch loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until completely smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
Mix in the baking soda and salt. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix in the flour.
Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 350F (175C), or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then remove the banana bread from the pan and let cool completely before serving. Slice and serve.
Abbey’s Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 375 F.
COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Abbey’s Ultimate Brownies
Ingredients:
1/4 cup cocoa
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup hot water
1 large egg (beaten)
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of salt

Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 350 F.
COMBINE all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Pour into a greased baking pan.
BAKE for 25-30 minutes. Let sit until cooled completely.
